FLYING PIONEER’S ILLNESS

BLOOD TRANSFUSION MADE. (By Wire —Special to News.) Auckland, Dec. 16. The condition of Mr. Vivian C. Walsh, one of the pioneers of aviation in Auckland, is causing grave anxiety. His treatment requires periodical transfusions of blood and difficulty has been experienced in finding a sufficient number of volunteers having blood of the correct constitution. A number of relatives and friends who were examined at the Auckland hospital were all found to be unsuitable, but it_is hoped more volunteers will be available as Mr. Walsh’s condition is critical.
