FALL OF HUNAN IMMINENT

SPREADING OF CHINESE WAR. By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright. Shanghai, Nov. 21. Thousands of refugees are pouring into Hankow from the war regions, bringing the war feeling nearer to the population. President Chiang Kai Shek is massing 100,000 < men on the Hunan border to check the Kuominchuns’ advance on Hankow. It is now definite that, unless Chiang halts the Kuominchun forces immediately, Hunan will fall, compelling the Government to retreat to Nanking. The Government forces in the south have been forced to abandon Wuchow, following the onslaught of the Ironside army.
