MEN ALLEGE VICTIMISATION. DANGER OF WIDER TROUBLE. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Hamilton, Last Night. Owing to a dispute over the dismissal of a miner , a stoppage of work occurred at the Glenmassy colliery yesterday.The workers allege victimisation of a worker dismissed on Tuesday evening. The president and secretary of- the Min-, erst District -Council have arrived .at Glenmassy and, with the local union’s representatives, had a conference with the management,’ but no* agreement was reached. The management has posted a notice ordering the men to go into the mine at 9 a.m. on Wednesday.

Unless satisfaction is obtained -by the union the district council will consider calling out all the miners in the Waikato district.
