MR. LLOYD GEORGE SUCCEEDS. NEARLY FORTY YEARS’ SERVICE. British Wireless. Rugby, Nov. 19. Mr. Lloyd George, who has been a member of the House of Commons since 1890, has, owing to the death of Mr. P. O’Connor, become the Father of the House, which is the title conferred on the member with the longest uninterrupted period of service. Mr. O’Connor had been a member since 1880. Next in seniority to Mr. Lloyd George is Sir Austen Chamberlain, who bec.ame a member of Parliament in 1892 and has been a member ever since. Mr," O’Connor’s successor as president of the -British- Board of Film Censors will be selected by a meeting of representatives of the various sections of the trade by which the board is organised. The censorship is quite unofficial and there is no Government’ control. ’
