Rec. 1.30 a.m. Shanghai, Nov. 11. • Although reliable information is unobtainable regarding the situation in the Honan province owing to the strict Government censorship, it is believed the Government is engaged in a life and death struggle with the rebellious Kuominchun forces under the notorious Feng-Yu-Hsiang, China’s untamable war lord, and the Hankow district is absolutely denuded of troops. Government troops are facing a line extending from Minsien to the Tung-fung-Peking-Hankow . railway. Crack Nanking divisions are occupying the front positions.
