ACID THROWN AT WOMEN
N.S.W. GIRLS BURNED ABOUT LEGS By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright. Rec. 11.15 p.m. Sydney, Nov. 11. Three young women, one of whom is married, were burned about the legs and body by acid thrown last night at Wickh|im, near Newcastle. Their clothes were ruined. It is believed sulphuric acid was used. A man has been detained on a suspected connection with the affair.
