RAN AWAY WITH GIRL. AND MONEY By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, Oct. 12. After prevailing on a girl of 16 to draw her savings from the Post Office Lester John Gordon Humphries, aged 19, left Nelson in company with her for Wellington. On the trip over the girl stole some money belonging to another’ passenger and was charged in the Juvenile Court thia morning. Humphries was charged with vagrancy. Sub-Inspector Lander said Humphries had twice come under the notice of the Child Welfare Department. / Mr. Page,- S.M., sent him to the Weraroa training farm.
