FAIR TO FINE WEATHER.

By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. The weather will be mainly fair to fine, with moderate temperatures, but some scattered showers on the west coast of the South Island and in the far south. Later conditions will become unsettled in the North Auckland district, with some rain. Freshening southeasterlies may be expected north of Kawhia and East Cape; elsewhere there will be west to north-west winds, moderate in most parts, but strong at times in Cook and Foveaux- Straits. Seas In New Zealand waters will be rather rough at times in Cook and Foveaux Straits; otherwise smooth to moderate but rising north of East Cape.
