FRENCH AIRMEN TRY TO BEAT. Received Sept. 29, 5.5 p.m. Paris, Sept. 28. Two Frenchmen, Captain Costes and Captain Belleconte, left Le Bourget on Saturday in an attempt to beat the world’s nonstop air record, their objective being Harbin. They are using a modified Brequet machine equipped with 600-h.p. Hispano Suiza engine.
