ACTIVITY AT EIGHTY-EIGHT. Received Sept. 29, 5.5 p.m. Argus. Paris, Sept. 28When celebrating his 88th birthday, M. Georges Clemenceau, veteran French politician, told the party of guests they must quit early as he could not afford to lose valuable time preparing a book which was to be published in October. “The Tiger” always rises at six in the morning and promptly resumes his manuscript in hia bold, firm hand, from which his typist immediately makes copies.
