CAR OVERTURNS IN SHINGLE
INJURIES TO FOUR PASSENGERS.

Christchurch, Sept. 2.
Four persons were injured, two seriously, when a motor-car overturned in shingle at Clarkville last evening. Mrs. Hodge received severe head injuries and Peggy Harman, aged eight, granddaughter of Mrs. Hodge, a dislocated hip. The driver was George Hodge, oi Christchurch who received minor injuries. Frederick ' Simcock, aged 43, sustained fractured ribs.
