TRISTRAM CUP GOLF

FIRST ROUND PLAYED AT ELTHAM

Ideal weather conditions favoured the playing of the first round of the Tristram Cup by the Eltham Golf Club during the week-end, and considerable interest is being taken in the piatch as a result of the even scoring. The results were:—

On Saturday a medal round played by the Ladies’ Club for non-handicap players was won by Mrs. M. McGarry. Miss L. Ritter annexed the L.G.U. medal vound. .

MATCHES BY HAWERA CLUB. When a team from the Hawera Ladies’ Golf Club visited Eltham to play a match on the Fairfield links, the Eltham ladies proved victorious by six games to three.
