WEDDING AT WAVERLEY.

MORRISON—BROWN. On Wednesday Ina Ireda, only daughter of Mr. F. Brown, Pahiatua, was married to Herbert, youngest son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Morrison, Wanganui. The bride was given away by her father. She wore the daintiest frock of palest pink georgette and lace, and carried a bouquet of pale pink chrysanthemums, maidenhair fern and streamer. Her veil was gracefully draped and embroidered in creme, the work making a spray over the head. The wedding was one of the prettiest of the year. Miss May Sinclair, chief bridesmaid, wore a frilled frock of eau de nil crepe de chine, and Miss Elfa Campion, second bridesmaid, wore maize silk, and as flower girls Molly Walker and Alwyn Morrison wore apricot silk frocks and bands of gold with coronet of flowers. They carried dainty baskets of flowers. Mr. Jack Hair was best man. Miss G, Beer officiated at the organ. The church was decorated with pink and white blooms. After leaving the church the party went to t'he town hall, where Miss Gardiner had prepared the wedding breakfast, ■which was a delight to the eye. The beautiful cake was a present from a friend. Mr. and Mrs. Morrison left by car for the East Coast and Hawke s Bay via Wanganui by car. Among the guests present were: Mrs. O’Connell, aunt of the bride, of Palmerston North; Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Morrison, Wanganui; Mr. and Mrs. John Morrison, Wanganui; Mr. and Mrs. James Young, Opunake; Mr. and Mrs. Duncan Morrison and daughter, Mrs. Campion, aunt of the bride, New Plymouth; Mr. and Mrs. Alex Morrison, Mr. and Mrs. Will Morrison, Mr. and Mrs. Prout, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Morrison, Mr. and Mrs. James Morrison, Miss Mardell, Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Young, Opunake, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Young, Mr. Vernon Brown, Mr. Duncan Robertson, great uncle of the groom, Rev. and Mrs. Stuart. The Rev. Stuart officiated, and gave a most impressive address. A dance was held during the evening : for. the brides and bridegroom's friends, . .
