MANAWATU DEMAND SLACK. B/ Telegraph.—-Fresa Asß<bcLatk>n. Palmerston N., Oct. 12. At th© sixth annual Manawatu Jersey bull and heifer sale yesterday, prices generally were not as high as last year. Requirements were apparently filled early in the sale, when A very fine selection was offered. Later prices fell away. Ninety-three head were sold, realising over £2200. Mr. R. L. Haia’s yearling heifer Ku Ku Bonny brought 70 guineas, the highest price realised over the sale. The same owner’s yearling heifer Ku K Viola was next best, at 60 guineas. A hid of 145 guineas avas received %>r the same owner's yearling heifer Ku Ku Ripple, but the reserve was 209 guineas.
