EGMONT CLUB SEASON The Egmont Homing Club openpd the old bird season with a flock race from Manutahi on October 19, seven loffo competing and 90 birds being sent to the liberating- point. The weather was fine with a westerly wind at the home end. The birds were liberated by the stationmaster at 12.56 p.m., the winner homing at four and a-quarter minutes past two.
