ALLEGED SHORTAGE OF FUNDS. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Whangarei, Sept. 22. A prominent business man, whose name was ordered to be suppressed, was charged in the Police Court To-day before a Justice of the Peace with having failed to account for £235 Ils lid, the property of the Whangarei Co-operative Terminating Building Society. Accused, who was remanded to October 1, was admitted to bail in self £250 and two sureties of £250 each.
