Hambro’s success today by 13 votes to 6 in transferring the election of the supervisory commission from the Council to the Assembly. He raised the point that no Parliament allowed the Cabinet to appoint the finance committee. Similarly the Assembly of 44 nations should have control, not the 14 comprising the Council.
