MOTOR GARAGE DESTROYED
OIL DRUMS ENDANGER FIREMEN. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Auckland, Sept, 21. Fire at Papatoetoe early this morning destroyed the motor garage of A. Mephan. The explosion of oil in drums made the firemen’s work dangerous, but they saved the billiard saloon behind the garage, also the adjoining property. The insurances on property destroyed totalled £lOOO.
