EVERYBODY’S. BILLIE DOVE AND LLOYD HUGHES. Lloyd Hughes plays opjxisite Billie Dove in “American Beauty,” a First National picture which opens a three night season at Everybody’s Theatre this evening. Based on the novel by Wallace Irwin, it necessarily follows that the comedy values of this brilliantly-pro-duced photoplay are very strong. Miss Dove’s frockings are gorgeous in the extreme, one in particular, which is composed entirely of American Beauty roses, with a basque of rose petals. Five hundred gorgeous blooms were used in the bouffant skirt. The action of the story is swift and compelling and full of suspense, until the final happy de nouement. It tells of a girl’s strugglt to camouflage her poverty to the smart set in which she moves. ” The cast of , “Woman Wise,” a Fox production which L showing also, includes William Busell, who has not been seen on the creen for some considerable time.
