MOUNTAIN CLIMBERS MEET.
On Monday night a committee meeting of the Stratford branch of the Mount ngmont Alpine Club was held, Mr. G. D. Hunter presiding. The central committee asked the local committee to appoint someone to fill a vacancy on the general committee, Mr. G. A. Carter was elected. jiessrs Fookes anu .richardson were appointed a sub-committee to make the necessary arrangements for any working bee or tramp conducted, and especially to arrange transport for the workino - bee to be held on the plateau ski track next Sunday. Twenty new members were elected.
