INTERNATIONAL RUGBY
BRITISH TEAM FOR NEW ZEALAND. ENGLISH UNION APPLAUDED. By Telegraph-—Press Assn.—Copyright. Australian Press Association. London, May 10. Sporting Life congratulates the New Zealand Rugby Union on the manner in which it received the International Board’s itirnation that no British team would be visiting New Zealand m 1930, a compliment to which they ar.- entitled. The paper welcomes the sportsmanlike and statesmanlike action of the English Union in accepting the invitation, also the prospects of periodical visits by the All Blacks. “There are many reasons why c'nitineutal countries are not admitted to fellowship with the Home unions,” the paper adds, “but these certainly do not apply to the Dominions, who are as keenly anxious for the future of the game as we are.”
