LICENSING LAW CHARGES. By Telegraph.—Free* AMceistioii. Hamilton, Last Night. Charged with being on licensed premises after hours, two members of the Hamilton police force, Constables Arnold Sydney Wade and Arthur Cyril Shilton, appeared in the Magistrate's Court to-day. Mr. Johnson, for the defendants, applied for an adjournment to March 28 as the chief witness for rj- e defence, Mr. E. H. Northcroft, a solicitor, of Auckland, would be unable to attend before that time owing to pressure of business. The adjournment was granted.
