SINGAPORE NAVAL BASE

TENDERS INVITED FOR DOCK

Sun. London, Feb. 9. The Government has invited several firms to tender before March 31 for the construction of a wet and dry dock at the Singapore base at a cost of four millions, which will be partly borne by the Dominions, covering a period of seven years. There will be a separate contract for armaments and workshops, which will not be begun until the above work is fully under way.
