WAIKATO TOURNAMENT. By Telegraph.—Preml Association. Hamilton, Feb. 9. Play at Matangi to-day concerned the Handicap Cup series in which Hawke’s Bay, with a handicap of 10 goals, beat Matangi B (16 goals) by 22 to 16. Feilding (16 goals) beat Matangi C (23 goals) by 27 goals to 24. Hawke’s Bay, who left for the south to-night, withdrew from the Handicap Cup final, which will be decided to-morrow between Feilding and Cambridge. For the Junior Cup final Te Mata play Matangi B, while Matangi and Waihou meet in the final of the Provincial Cup.
