While Master Doon was galloping on No. 1 track this morning his gear slipped and he lost his rider. The saddle went underneath and the horse commenced to buck; then he bolted several rounds on the sand. Spectators endeavoured to stop him and Master Doon collided with the rails, suffering an injury that will prevent him from racing again for a long time.
