FARE TENNIS CLUB.
A meeting of the committee of the ■Park Tennis Club was held on Friday evening, Mr. H. Freeman presiding. It was decided to open the season on October 29 with a Yankee tournament, and the Mayor, Mr. E. A. Pacey, is to be invited to officially open the courts at 2 p.m. The committee decided to put in extra Beating in the pavilion and to improve facilities in the kitchen.
