COST OF LEAGUE OF NATIONS
BUDGET ESTIMATES SHOWN. By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright. Received Sept. 14, 10.5 p.m. London, Sept. 14. The Times’ Geneva correspondent states that the League’s Budget for 1928 is £987,000, an increase of 1.4 per cent, over the 1927 expenses. The Geneva Secretariat offices in the various capitals absorb £532,000, the International Labour Office £330,000, The Hague Court of Justice £86,000, the buildings at Geneva £54,000. The cost of the Assembly for 1928 is estimated at £11,600, consisting of Council meetings £3OOO, commissions and conferences £75,000.
