BEHAVED AS BLACKGUARD
BREACH OF PROBATION. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Auckland, Aug. 30, “He has behaved as a blackguard in more ways than one,” said Mr. E. K. Hunt, SJM., in sentencing William Robert Curson, aged 25, to two months in gaol for failing to comply with the terms of his release on probation. He was convicted and discharged on a charge .of drunkenness and procuring liquor during the currency of a prohibition order. It was stated yesterday that Curson, who was divorced, had induced a girl to leave her home for him. He was referred to by the Rev. Jasper Calder as being a Jekyll and Hyde mixture.
