TIMBER MILL BURNED

DAMAGE ON MAIN TRUNK. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Taihape, Last Night. A timber mill at Omatane, owned by C. O. Gibbs, was totally destroyed by fire on Sunday morning. The mill was the most up-to-date on the Main Trunk line. The origin of the fire is unknown. The insurances are £5OO on the bunlding and £l5OO on the plant in the South British Office Thirty men are ou| of work as a result of the fire.
