THIEF ON CYCLE

BAG SNATCHER AT WORK, Christchurch, Jan. 4. Complaints have been received by the police of the operations of a sneak thief, who indulges in bag snatching. This type of impudent thief has on at least two occasions been successful. His plan is to ride a cycle near a woman pedestrian, snatch her handbag and make off at top speed.
