WEDDING.

LANCASTER.—CASSIE. The wedding took place at St. Andrew’s Church, New Plymouth, on Wednesday last, of Jessie, fourth daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A. Cassie, “Kenmure,” Carrington Road, and Roy, only son of Mr. and Mrs. Lancaster, Boys’ High School, Christchurch. The service was conducted by the Rev. J. D. Wilson, and Miss Irene Hirst, one of the bride’s intimate friends, presided at the organ. The bride, who was given away by her father, wore a charming toilet of white georgette with touches of gold, the family veil and organ blossoms, and carried a fragrant bouquet. Her bridesmaids, Miss May Cassie, in green with panels of gold lace, and Miss Ethne Lancaster in gold with floral trimming with bouquets to tone, were attended by Mr. Hunter Hamilton and Mr. A. Cassie, junr. After the ceremony the guests were entertained, and the happy couple departed by car, the bride wearing a beige embroidered frock with coat of rust brown and large crinoline hat trimmed with rust ribbon velvet.
