AUSTRALIAN EGGS

POOR SHIPMENTS TO ENGLAND. By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright. Received Dec. 13, 5.5 p.m. London, Dee. 12. Apparently as the result of ill-fitting, non-flanged fillers made over light cardboard, several recent consignments of Australian eggs arrived in such a condition as to impair the earlier good name. Letters of complaint received from all over Great Britain draw attention to the heavy average of breakages and wrong description as varied coloured, as they are all brown.
