The Krtcat, Club, one of the best known of the West End dance clubs, was raided on Saturday at midnight, when the fashionable attendance was witnessing a cabaret performance. Many well-known people in the political and theatrical world dashed to the exits in preference to giving their names, but most of the members complied with the police requests. Club officials are unable to explain the reason for the raid. The membership includes Sir W. Joynson Hicks and other members of the Cabinet. One of Sir W. JoynsonHicks’ sons is a member of the committee.
