PRINCE AND EX-SOLDIERS

A DANCE AND A DRINK. By Telegraph—-Press Assn.— Copyright. Received Dec. 9, 5.5 p.m. London, Dee. 9. The Prince of Wales, who last week partnered several girl workers at the exservice men’s dance in South London, last night attende'd an ex-service men’s club dance in the East End, after which he accompanied a group to' a publichouse nearby, the "Bricklayers Arms,” in Stepney Green. "What'll you have?” cried a score of voices crowded in the bar. “A glass of ale,” said the Prince, “and I’ll draw it myself.” He thereupon went behind the bar, drew the ale, nodded to the crowd, drank, and then departed amid cheers.
