WAREHOUSE RIFLED
REVOLVERS PURLOINED. TWO YOUTHS BEFORE COURT. By Te!esr»ps.--Pre«a Association. Christchurch, Ulsl Night. One of them carrying a loaded revol. ver, two youths were arrested on a charge of breaking into a local warehouse, where they stole three revolvers and 200 rounds of ammunition. Tho youths were William Alfred Meagher, n motor mechanic, aged 19, and Jack Sidney Valentine Botts. They appeared to day before Mr. E. D. Mosley, S.M., when Meagher pleaded guilty to a charge of carrying a pistol beyond the limits of his dwelling-house without a license. The accused were jointly charged that on December 2, at Christchurch, they broke and entered by night the warehouse of E. Reece, Ltd., and stole goods valued at £l4.
On the application of the police, accused were remanded to December 14, bail being refused.
