ARCHBISHOT REDWOOD'S VIEWS. By Telegraph!—Press Association. Wellington, Dec. 8. “It is impossible to have honesty and morality in the State if you have not religion,” said Archbishop Redwood, when speaking at St. Patrick s College last evening, in the course of an address upon the relation of the Roman Catholic Church to the secular system of education. The Archbishop declared that the system of secular education, . f not checked, would prove the ruin of Australia and New Zealand, and averred that, as an Englishman, he was ashamed of those who had been responsible for its introduction.
