CHAMPIONSHIP AWARDS. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Dunedin. Last Night. People’s Day at the Otago summer show was spoilt to-day by continuous heavy rain. The gate receipts showed a decrease of £2OO on last year, and the attendance was about 6000. The following championships were awarded:—• Shorthorns.—Cow; J. A. Johnstone's Bushey Park Tea Rose. Bull: J. A. Johnstone’s Bushey Park Lavender Royal. The same exhibitor won the reserves. Friesians.—Cow: JI. North and Son’s Rosevale Gladys Paseh; reserve* H. North and Son. Bull: Adam Wilkinson; reserve, W. Bryant. Red Polls. —Cow: John Donaldson (Stirling) champion and reserve. Bull: John Donaldson, champion; reserve, Sir Heaton Rhodes. Ayrshire^.—Cow: Gillies Bros., e-liarn-j>ion and reserve. Bull: G. R. Ferron (Gore) champion; reserve, C. Fox. Jersey.—Cow: 8. Doll (Fairlie) champion and reserve. Bull; 8. Doll champion; reserve, D. Wright (Palmerston South). Cyldesdgles.—Entire: Thomson, Ltd.’s Brilliantshine, champion; reserve, J. M, Smith’s (Kakanui) Bolmedic Monarch.
