FOUND GUILTY OF STEALING. By Telegraph —Press Association. Auckland, Last Night. Patrick Shields Hargraves, aged 36, an ex-officer, in the Indian Army, ,vas found guilty in the Supreme Court of stealing fl typewriter, an alternative charge of receiving the typewriter being dismissed. The jury recommended him to mercy in view of his war. record. The typewriter disappeared from the hotel where the accused, under the name of Shields, was living and subsequently, the accused tried to sell it. Sentence was deferred until tomorrow.
