A square of black chiffon bordered with black lace was the scarf which accompanied a frock of black lacc .and sequins, the lace and the sequins alternating in the pleats of the skirt. In a subtle way the scarf was not only a part of the whole scheme, but actually the completion of it. The idea of the frock seemed to be best conveyed as the wearer of it. raised her hands to throw her scarf about her neck. * * « *
London society women are wearing most “amusing” colours this Spring, and one or two mixed together, instead of everything to match, as it used to be last season. You see a pale blue suit with a flesh-pink blouse and pink hat. This U charming when cleverly chosen and worn by the right people, but holds endless pitfalls for the unwary.
