Gadd won the Daily Dispatch £lOOO golf prize, which involves the northern professional championship, with a total of 29’6 for 72 holes. Of the eight Americans competing, Mellioon was first with 299. E. R. Whitcomb© and Davies, each with 299, were bracketed with Mellioon for .second place. Natroiis and Compston, with 302 each, obtained eighth place, Howard’s score being 310. London, June 10. The aggregates in the Daily Dispatch contest at the end of the third round are: Gadd 219, Melhoon 222, E. R. Whiteombe and Jolly 224 each, Aldwiek 225, Watrous and Compston 226, Kirkwood 227, Hagen 229, Howard 236. Watrons did a round in 68, a course record. Kirkwood and Barnes were disqualified for arriving late. NORTH FRANCE CHAMPIONSHIP. Received June 11, 7.50 p.m. Paris, June 10. In the Northern France amateur golf championship final, Standish (America) beat Michael Scott on the 19th hole, AUCKLAND CHAMPIONSHIP. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Auckland, Last Night. The final of the Auckland provincial ladies’ golf championship was won by Miss E. Culling, who defeated Miss M. Payton one up at the 19th.
