Another short programme of three events was decided at a meeting under the auspices of the New Plymouth League Cycle Club at Western Park last night. The results were: — Half-mile open.—L. Claffey (60yds) 1, O. Belk (60yds) 2, C. Aroa (35yds) 3. Won by half a wheel. Nine starters. Time. Imin. 6see. (unofficial). Two miles—C. Parker (scr) I, C. Aroa (110yds) 2, O. Belk (175yds) 3, Won by two lengths. Nine starters. Time, 4min. 41sec. (unofficial). Boys’ half-mile.—Tippens (scr) 1, Parkes (75yds) 2, Neilson (75yds) 3. Won by a couple of inches. Four starters. Time, 2min. 20 2-ssea (unofficial).
