Mrs. Lambert-Chambers stated it .was impossible for the English women tennis players to viYit Australia next summer. Their African tour would occupy frofti October to February ami they must return promptly to defend the Wightman Cup. ‘The Australian visit would be a possibility during 1927. INGLEWOOD CLUB. Thu annual meeting of the Inglewood Tenuis Club was held on Monday. Finances were shown to be in a much improved condition. The sum of £4O had been paid off the debentures, and the season completed with a debit balance of £1 9s. compared with £7 IGs in 1-924. The election of officers resulted in Mr, Sutherland being re-elected presiident. Messrs. H. L. Cutfield, I. P. Grant, W. 11, Armstrong, A. Henderson, and F. Partridge are the executive committee; Mr. A. J. Aitkin secretary and treasurer; and Messrs. Cutfield, Partridge and IL IL II er son junior and A. Henderson, I. and W. Armstrong senior match committees.
