The third day of the Australian Jockey Club’s spring meeting was held at Randwick to-day. The attendance was 30,000. The weather was line and cool, and the going was good. Interest centred in Windbag’s prospect sof registering his sixth successive victory. The Hawk was regarded as 'Windbag’s most dangerous rival. Windbag, however, at nv stage caused his supporters anxiety. Davidson, the rider of Miss Isolt in the Members’ Handicap, sustained an injured right arm and Cracknell abrasions to the hip. The results are: SECOND HURDLE RACE. About two miles and three furlongs.—Piratic (11.0) I, Cherry Ripe (110.4) 2, Grey Knight (10.11) 3. Eight starters. Kainga went to the front and Jed easily till the mile post. Piratic took the field to the leader and led into the straight.
