ENTERTAINMENTS.

EVERYBODY’S. SPECIAL FAMILY NIGHT. William Desmond’s latest picture, "Ridin’ Pretty,” and the second of Jack Dempsey’s “Fight and Win” stories entitled “A Society Knock-out,” is showing for the last time to-night at Everybody’s Theatre. The supporting films include a two-reel Century comedy entitled “Taming the East,” with Buddy Messinger and International News reel. The price of admission for children this evening is sixpence. Seats may be reserved at Collier's. Commencing to-mor-row and showing for three nights at Everybody’s is First National’s eight reel feature, “Madonna of the Streets/’ with Nazimova and Milton Sills heading the cast. The picture was adapted from the well-known novel, “The Ragged Messenger,” by W. B. Maxwell, and was made under the direction of Edwin Carewe. Box plans for the season are now open at Collier’s. THE PEOPLE’S. “THE MAN WITHOUT A HEART.” “The Man Without a Heart,” a rapid moving society drama with a novel plot, was shown at the People’s Theatre last night and registered in story, cost and presentation, to the satisfaction of the audience. In this picturisation of Ruby M. Ayres’ novel, Burton King, the producer, has succeeded in bringing to the screen a picture that is distinctly out of the ordinary run. Kenneth Harlan and Jane Novak head the all-star cast. The supporting films include a two-reel comedy entitled, “A Poor Millionaire” and Pa the News reel. The programme sliows again to-night. To-morrow and Friday’s programme at the People’s Theatre is headed by “Galloping Gallagher,” a special Western comedy-drama with the popular outdoor star Fred Thomson and his clever horse “Silver King.” Friday is family night.
