TARANAKI STOCK MARKET. Newton King, Ltd., report:— At Okato, on the 18th Inst., we conducted a most successful clearing sale on behalf of Mr. E. F. Bates, when his herd of 60 cows, together with young stock and implements, etc., were disposed of. There was a very large attendance of buyers representative of all parts of Taranaki, and the sale went with a brisk swing throughout. The cows were practically all Jersey and Jersey cross, and the 60 averaged £ll 15s. Good Jerseys made from £l2 to £l7, small, fair conditioned and backward Jersey cows £7 to £ll, Jersey crosa cows up to £l5.
