MUST GAMBLE.

MELBOURNE’S LATEST CRAZE. Melbourne, May 26. “Q Ball” is Melbourne’s latest craze. It is the popular successor to HouseyHousey, which the court declared illegal. The new craze is being played at parlours where Housey-Housey was formerly conducted. Flappers are fascinated, and it is expected that its popularity will soon rival that of Housey-Housey unless the law strikes its death-blow-.

Anyone can grasp the rudiments of Q Ball in a few seconds. Each of fifteen players is handed a tiny cue, and the aim is to punch little balls into round holes at the end of a table. The table is divided into as many pens as there are players, and over each hole is a numeral. The prize goes to the player with the best aggregate score after four shots. The prizes include watches, boxes of chocolates, razors ami ornaments.
