ESCAPE FROM GAOL
IN HANDS OF POLICE AGAIN. By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright. Received June 22, 8.15 p.m. Sydney, June 22. At the Darlinghurst sessions Terence C’Gonnor, aged 26, was sentenced to tkrfee years’ gaol on a charge of theft. The police stated that O’Connor was an escapee from the Wellington, gaol, but although the New Zealand* authorities desired his deportation, they were not prepared to pay for his extradition.
