Great and good work had been done by its coinmercial travellers for all patriotic and charitable causes. His Excellency was' presented with a gold badge of the association surmounted by a scroll bearing the word: “Patron.” The National Anthem, an enthusiastic resinging of ‘■'For He’s a Jolly Good Fellow,” and hearty cheers for Their Excellences and family closed the proceedings.
