Dr. (the Chancellor) has finally resigned in cOiiscqueiice of a conflict with . his party in the which demands greater autonomy and obstructs his plans for the reconstruction of Austrian finances. Dr. Seipel tendered his resignation last week as the result .of the deadlock arising out of the railwaymen’s strike, but later returned to office.
