At tlie Inveruargin Supreme Court- be-, fore Mr. Justice him, the following prisoners were sep,tence<l .this morning;—HaMane -lames Orr, for an attempted indecent act; two. years’ reformative de-, tention. Thomas William Allen, breaking, entering and theft" while on pretbationi three years’ reformative detention. Accused made,a reqncst to be. deported to Tasmania, but Hja.:Honour, explained that be could ijot order deportation. Stanley ‘ Adamson, for attempted breaking and 1 entering at Wright and Stephenson’S store- to get ; petrol, was •fined £2O. Lawrence Lareen and Edgftr Artbur Peterson, inmates of the Borstal Institution, were charged with escaping from lawful custody. The judge cancelled the previous sentence;- which was •half-served, and sentenced each to a further three years’ detention.
